nds4droid release 46

Hey there boys and girls, how about an nds4droid update for the holidays? As always it’s on Google Play and sourceforge. Your changes:

  • Added a soft options button that will open the options menu. This will allow new devices that don’t display the options compatibility bar to access the options.
  • (Hopefully) fixed a bug that caused excessive battery drain when minimized on devices with buggy OpenSL ES drivers (reported by LG Korea)

  1. Good job.
A question. To use the emulated sotfAp ssid WiFi connection.. what is the android app needed?. I know that in desmemu in windows is winpcap. But I dont find the similar app in android

  2. Hi, love your new version! I had recently bought a tablet with better specs than my phone and got nds4droid there..for some reason even after I transfer all the save states and dsv files to the tablet (in the appropriate folders) when I start a rom in the game and try to restore a state, it doesn’t show or detect any of my previous saves!

    Help?

    1. Are the ROMs named the same? The save states are based on the ROM file name, if they’re different at all they won’t match. That’s the only thing I can think of!

  3. Hi there. You’re emulator is amazing!! :)) I was just wondering if there was any way you could make a “blow in the mic” button or something of the sort. The only reason I say that is because I have a Kindle Fire and they stupidly left out a mic so I can’t beat Phoenix Wright and I’m on the final case!! Please help!! Thanks in advance!!

  4. I love this app. With my samsung s5 speeding nds4droid up it is just as good as Drasic, in my oppinion. I feel that Your app has a more friendly appearance. Being able to move the screens would be a great idea and I noticed that a couple of games still don’t work though. Like “Dragon Quest 9” and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

  5. Just got a new Galaxy Note 5. The app seems to work great except for one critical bug – when I tap your added soft options button, it doesn’t bring up the options, and ends up just pausing the game. It does the same thing when I press my hard options button (holding down the back button on the Note 5). I appreciate the work you do, and if you could fix this bug, I would much appreciate it. 😀

  6. I downloaded this emulator on my Samsung Note 5. However, it just pauses when I try to access the Settings via “soft key” or “long press the Back key”. PLEASE fix this and thank you for this emulator!! Everything else seems fine, just a tad slow but it’s no biggie since this emulator is FREE. Thank you Jeffq.
